The M83, I read many a review where people said it was a bad gun. And now mine has died, I have to agree. The reason it 'died' is not due to its being used a lot, its due to shoddy workmanship on its attachments. The normal barrel slid out of the part which screws into the gun as I picked it up by it, and the gun hit the floor stock first resulting in a jammed adjustable stock. That was particularly annoying as it was fully extended at the time, and I used it as a CQB M4 a fair amount of the time. Then, today, as I tried to unjam the stock, it snapped off (quite how this happened, I do not know, as a cheaper smaller adjustable stock an a half size M4/M16 did not snap off when I unjammed it). I then picked it up by the grip, which somehow managed to lose it's grip on the rail it was attached to and this caused the gun to again, fall onto the floor, this caused damage to the ABS plastic towards the middle of the gun, which in turn seems to have bent the inner barrel somehow and now, BBs cannot be fired in it. It is an okayish gun for a beginner, but I have to say that the D94S M4S would be better value as it has two high capacity motorized magazines at a slightly lower price. This compared to the M83's 45 round magazine and lack of any type of high capacity magazine puts it at a disadvantage. The D94s M4S doesn't come with as many attachments, but they aren't needed on an AEG, but, nor does it have many rails, again though, they aren't needed on an AEG. To put it simply, The D94S M4S is better value for your money. But it is your money.
